Since we appreciate the strong ties between you and your pet, our method reflects our conviction that we should treat our pets as well as we would expect to be treated ourselves and our family. We hope that we radiate the joy and satisfaction our work gives us. |
The Anubis team consists of veterinary surgeons, who co-operate with veterinary specialists and assistants. Our team offers veterinary services that meet the highest standards. Our hospital is built and organised according to the highest standards of the 'American Animal Hospital Association'. |

All operations are performed in extremely strict sterile circumstances by means of sterile air blowers, masks, headgear, sterile coats, operation fields, surgical gloves, etc. This allows us to perform operations without the administration of antibiotics, like in human medicine. That is very crucial since resistance to antibiotics is avoided that way, which is extra safe, both for you and for your pet.\r\n\r\nThe operations we perform range from very easy (e.g. castrations and injuries) to extremely complex (artificial hip, vertebral fractures, brain tumours). Sophisticated equipment enables arthroscopy and laparoscopy. If the owner has a fixed budget, ordinary injections are used to anaesthetize the animals. Animals whose owners want the best possible quality, are injected intravenously or are anaesthetized by means of gas. In the latter case, the patients wake up fast and painlessly after the operation. The patients’ cardiac function, temperature, absorption of oxygen, concentration of anaesthetic gas, carbon dioxide content of the blood and the degree of anaesthesia are monitored closely during the operation. We always prepare an infusion so that we can take immediate action in case of problems. We recommend a blood test beforehand to avoid any risks. Our hospital has an internal laboratory for that purpose. These precautions allow us to considerably reduce the risk connected with anaesthesia. An incubator is available in which patients can quickly warm up after anaesthesia. We consider pain control during and after each operation an ethical priority and we continuously pay much attention to that: we are only satisfied when our animals have no pain at all. |

Hospitalisation is recommended for further examination, after a particular operation or in case of a serious disease. This hospitalisation is supervised by a veterinary surgeon. Animals suffering from contagious diseases can be put in quarantine. Cats and dogs are hospitalised separately. |

We can always bleep a veterinary surgeon to examine and treat your pet. The necessary conveniences, material, medication and methods for emergency treatments are always available. Emergency treatments are, of course, more expensive, especially at night and at the weekend. |
